Ashby and Scott
Villa blessing, May 2009
(see also their rehearsal meal)

Ashby and Scott joined family and friends in rural Tuscany for a blessing ceremony in May, one of the most reliable months for warm and usually dry weather. The two families divided their involvement between the wedding event and the rehearsal meal, in a different area at the villa the previous night - see images of that set-up here.

The family write:

Allow me to state my sincere appreciation for the beautiful flowers, music, wedding cake presentation and all things having to do with the presentation at the wedding, and your role as officiant. The ceremony was wonderful. The table for the reception was stunning and just as Ashby had requested. The musicians for the reception were outstanding. The photographers were exemplary. The rehearsal dinner was one of the most elegant and completely satisfying events of the week.
