Well we are finally home and back down to earth after the most amazing wedding ever! We have had some amazing comments, letters and thank you cards all congratulating us on such an excellent week at the villa but of course we cannot accept all the praise.

Without your invaluable help, advice and professionalism it would not have had the reaction it has done and the memories you and your team have created will last a lifetime.

Despite a wedding planned by email I am amazed looking back how stress-free the whole thing was. Of course getting 46 people out to a villa in the middle of nowhere, feeding, watering and keeping them entertained is no mean feat but with you taking care of the rest, it was made a whole lot easier.

Please send on our gratitude and best wishes to Giancarlo, his family and team who made a fantastic night of the pizza party. I don't think anyone will forget the delicious fruit and chocolate pizzas! The cooking and service was carried out with such professionalism and flair and surpassed all our expectations.

The wedding day itself went without a hitch! The civil ceremony in Certaldo was beautiful. Then the blessing at the villa had them weeping in the aisles – all in all a very romantic setting and your orchestration of the ceremony was seamless.

Stefano and his gang were lovely guys too and made everyone feel relaxed. We cannot wait to see the finished articles!

Please thank Marisa for the amazing flowers, decorations and tableware. She really matched our visions to a tee! The food and the evening setting were magical. We only wish we could have that meal again as being the bride and groom meant that we were too preoccupied to truly enjoy every mouthful but our guests talked about it for the rest of our stay!

At the party we didn't want the night to end but our friends coerced us up to our room where they had decorated it with candles and rose petals. A perfect end to a perfect day.

Since our return things have not been the same, we miss Italy and the villa immensely and would do it again tomorrow. Do you do renewing of vows too!!

We have also had a lot of interest from colleagues and even friends of friends who now want to have the Italy Weddings experience. We have of course given them your details.
