Louanne and Edgar wanted an elegant wedding, but one that would be fun and relaxing for their guests.
They opted for a whole day rental on a large Florentine castle, and held a symbolic blessing in the gardens. This was followed by long, relaxing cocktails and canapés on the terraces of the castello, and a seated evening meal in the castle courtyard.
The intimacy and elegance comes in attention to detail, and the flowers, table set-up, and color coordination was carefully orchestrated to give a complete and harmonious feel.
Music is an essential part of the couple's life, and a top Italian DJ, serious dancing into the night.
The couple write:
Hi Ben and Marisa,
This note is way overdue so I apologize in advance. After the honeymoon and getting back to reality it's finally time :) I just wanted to tell you both that we could not have asked for a more perfect day. It was the most beautiful and amazing wedding EVER!! In fact, my friends and family are still going on about it which is such a great feeling. I was so worried that our guests would have travelled so far and been dissapointed, but, they were just as overwhelmed with how beautiful it all was as were we. It truly was a fairytale wedding, in a castle in Tuscany!
Marisa, I cannot thank you enough for how lovely the flowers turned out. I don't know if the ladies told you, but, as soon as as I saw them at the hotel I burst into tears. They were more perfect than I ever could have imagined. I felt like a princess!!
Ben, the DJ, what can is say...he was AWESOME!!! If you couldn't tell, we had the best time dancing and it was a party that everyone will never forget. Thank you so much for being so flexible with me on that, it really made the evening a hit.
As for all the details and everything else, thank you so much for listening and making all of our visions come to reality (well, mostly mine.....hahahah).
We've looked at the pictures on the website which are just gorgeous and can't wait to receive them!
