NEW: Please note that it is now possible for Italyweddings to arrange a legally binding civil wedding in the grounds of this villa. This castello - a fortified villa built in the XV century - was built as both a fortress, and as a country house for relaxation. Today the castello and grounds are rented for weddings. The rental is made up of the halls and courtyard of the castello itself, as well as the gardens, where a blessing may be held, as well as the wedding aperitif. The castle is also renown for the production of several top tuscan wines, as well as the castello's own olive oil production, and a few weekly rented apertments. During the summer months, we prefer to arrange evening receptions, and the spaces are ideal for 50 to 150 guests, in the spacious central courtyard. There is also plenty of internal space for parties, should the weather make this necessary. There are also the spacious lawns outside of the castello walls, where the aperitifs may be served. One of the most charming aspects of this medieval location in the integrity of the spaces - not much has changed here over the centuries, and when the evening sun sets, and the castle walls are lit up by dozens of oil burning torches, the setting is truly evocative of the midde ages.
