Together with Marisa, his wife and Italywedding's floral designer they established Italyweddings in 1997. As a team they have assisted hundreds of couples over the last 15 years though every aspect of their Italian weddings.

Marisa Camuso, originally from the small rural town of Apice, in the Campania region, has lived in Tuscany for many years. She was trained as a fashion designer in Florence, and has designed collections for a number of years.

In the last ten years Marisa has become a stunning floral designer, responsible for all the work Italyweddings produces, and her visual training and experince guides you through all the aesthetic aspects of the wedding design: flowers, bouquets, table design, linens, mood-boards, color control, illumination...

Martina Desideri has been Italyweddings main assistant wedding planner over the last years, and takes full control and responsibility for an increasing number of our events. Born and bred in Pistoia, she trained in languages, and her natural enthusiasm and warmth are contagious.

Over the years of wedding planning, Ben and Marisa have accumulated a vast knowledge of the, legal requirements, the local traditions and customs, and Italy's enormous culinary and cultural heritage. They have nurtured solid relationships with the top photographers, florists, and catering firms, that guarantee a first class service; along with a knowledge of the important villas, restaurants and hotels in the area, capable of arranging professional and personal events.
