Apice (meaning Apex in English). The small villagein the Campania region of Southern Italy where Marisa was born. Many ways travelling the 500 KM from Tuscany to this rural area in like travelling back 100 years in time. Marisa was born at home, with no electricity or running water, this in 1966. While that has changed, much of the gentle but severe nature of the people reflects the countryside.
