Can’t decide where in Tuscany to get married? Consider Pistoia.
Pistoia remains off the beaten tourist route, even though the town center is one of the best preserved in Tuscany. The town is also just a few miles out of Florence, easy to reach, and a great base for visiting Lucca, Pisa, Montecatini, and all of Northern Tuscany.
The town hall is perfect for a larger wedding party for the civil wedding. While many towns in the area, such as Florence, with the Sala Rossa, are limited in terms of space, the town hall here is great for a party of 70 or more.
The thriving younger culture of the town has recently given move to a number of great restaurants, while the hills outside of the town – mixed woodland, olive groves and fertile plains – are home to a number of spectacular villas.
