Caroline and Greg held a Roman Catholic religious blessing this June in San Gimignano, with 70 of their family and friends as witnesses and guests at the event. The couple had as accommodation, and backdrop to their wedding reception, one of our most popular villas, where 40 of their guests were hosted for the wedding week. The wedding was celebrated in a beautiful frescoed church in the heart of San Gimignano, and the guests made their way back to the villa for an afternoon of aperitifs, conversation, catching up on old friends, and making new acquaintances. The evening continued with a full Tuscan banquet held in front of the facade of the villa candle lighting, music, and typical local cuisine, prepared on site by our top caterers. The natural beauty of the hills between Volterra and San Gimignano, the soft evening light, and the elegance of the event will remain in the hearts and minds of the guests and the couple well after their return to life in the US.
