Erin and Robert were married in the town hall of Certaldo. This is a lovely small medieval village on the border of the regions of Florence and Siena. The town hall is one of the few where the wedding ceremony may be held in an external location, in the courtyard of the 14th century town hall.

 

The countryside around Certaldo is studded with cypresses, old farmhouses, olive groves and vineyards. The wedding took place in the early evening, and while the guests enjoyed aperitifs, Erin and Robert took time alone, to capture the sunset, and to share a personal moment.
