Summer is drawing to a close which makes it seem almost rude that Peter and I haven't been in touch earlier to let you know how much we enjoyed our wedding in Italy

“Enjoyed” isn't really he right word to use as it doesn't evoke how I, for one, had literally the time of my life. My brother wrote in our guest book “I find it hard to believe that this week will eventually have to come to an end, but we'll all hold the memories of the day forever”. These words sum up exactly how we all felt and it was a result of the most amazing, romantic location and the people around us, but also much was owed to your hard work and detailed planning beforehand. Peter and I didn't even feel the stress that most people talk about in the run up to their wedding. You have a perfect balance of professionalism coupled with informality which filled us with confidence in the run up to the wedding and made you come across more of a friend than a wedding planner, on the day itself. This was an observation of many of the guests.

So we must thank you for making the occasion as memorable as it was for the whole wedding party. We've even had statements such as “it was the best wedding I've ever been to” and I know they were not just being polite!

Please extend our gratitude to Sara and the caterers, for a meal that is still being talked about now! Also thank Marisa for the beautiful flowers on all the tables, which were perfect, regardless of my vague requests at the outset.

I would offer to recommend Italyweddings to other couples, but with the number you had planned for this summer I get the feeling it's not something you need… There were many single friends among our guests and one couple were so inspired by the whole experience they have since become engaged, and are planning a similar destination wedding.

Considering the many weddings you organise, you managed to make us feel as though ours was the only one, and this was appreciated by everyone. We will be reminiscing for a long time about San Gimignano and the villa…
