Nothing is ever perfect at any wedding. This was a near as I've seen any couple get....

   

The setting was outstanding; Southern Tuscany, cornfields just harvested, and sunflower fiends in full bloom. The weather was perfect: crisp, dry, a light breeze. The ceremony was personal and moving, the bride and groom were calm, beautiful. The wedding guests were exactly the right mixture of family and close friends that the bride and groom wished to have with them. But all this does not describe this particular wedding, the particular personal magic that Jill and Sydney themselves put into the event.

   

   

The wedding party sat down to a simple, refined meal of typical Tuscan dishes and Chianti wines, with grain decorating the tables, votive candles, and the sunset over the corn fields.
