Vicki and David's wedding was a little different - a lot different from many of the celebrations we arrange here in Italy. Theirs was a reaffirmation ceremony, just the bride and groom, and their beautiful daughter. And what made it more special was the bride did not know anything about the celebration until she was met with the music, Pachelbel's Canon (the music they walked down the aisle to in their first wedding), but now, here in Florence, in the Boboli gardens.
The groom, the Canadian writer of wonderful childrens books, David Bouchard, writes:
Dear Ben,
You've been a part of the best thing I've done ever - after marrying Vicki the first time. Angela, the violinist, was wonderful. Stefano, the photographer, was delightful. You were everything I had hoped you might be. How in the world did we pull it off so nicely. Timing is everything in life and yours was perfect!
Vicki is telling the world about our event. She doesn't stop for butter than she tells whomever the whole story. I still can't believe that we pulled this off as we did. Technology is simply the most amazing tool that allows us opportunities that we never would have believed possible. And our working on this together is the perfect example of this.
I can't imagine every man in the world not wanting to contact you for exactly the same experience. Please feel free to use me in any way, shape or form. I would be the most positive reference possible. Use my name, pictures, whatever you'd like. I'm here telling the world about you so don't be at all surprised if you get calls from Canada or the U.S...directed from one happy client.
Please tell your wife that Vicki and I loved our flowers. We'll find the perfect place to display them in our world then I'll send you a picture.
David Bouchard
