New Castle wedding – civil and religious

Shannah and Matthew, family, friends and the couple’s faithful dog, spend a week in Southern Tuscany, at this wonderful castle. The week culminated in a double wedding: a civil ceremony in the town hall in Siena, and a religious blessing at the castle’s chapel.
Accommodation for all the wedding party was located in the farmhouses around the main castle, and these buildings, each with their own private lawns and pools, acted as a base for other, informal in-week activities.

The canape’s were held in the gardens of the castle – a long, relaxed period of time for mingling, and also allowing time for group photography.

The seated meal was set in the internal, medieval halls of the castle itself. An intimate, warm and welcoming setting, ideal for speeches and conversation. Dancing followed into the night in the lower floors and courtyard of the castle.
