Emma and Patrick held a civil wedding just outside of Florence, and a party at the amazing Villa Vorno.
A number of decorative details were included in the day, some prepared ahead of time by the couple, others by Italyweddings and our florist. We love to work closely with the couple on these sorts of details, so the style and the colours combine to create a complete, overall feel to the event.
There was a whicker basket outside the town hall with hand made bags containing dried floral confetti. The couple made very English bunting for areas of the event, and for the table map, using the classic 1940’s Penguin Book style and colours.
Marisa arranged flowers in various types of pots and jars, with country herbs, open peonies, and roses. Antique urns with decorated jars for the candles were used for the table set-up.
A number of photography related props were used for a photo booth corner – all little touches that gave a feeling of a coherent but quite simple and easy going night.
A Millefoglie wedding cake was paired up with macaroons, made in the couple’s colour theme.
