From the Father of the Bride:
I just finished watching the Jenn and Ben Kalman’s wedding DVD including special features of the complete ceremony and reception.
I know you do quite a few of these events, and it probably is routine for you. But, it was quite spectacular for me, my daughter, and our family. I just wanted to let you know that.
Through your patient and professional demeanor throughout, you kept my daughter calm, which is something that I haven’t mastered after all of these years.
A heartfelt thank to you and all of your efforts.
From a grateful father of the bride,
Jennifer and Ben wanted an elegant wedding, but one that would be fun and relaxing for their guests.
The intimate party of 40 family and friends flew in mostly from America, and the couple arranged, with our assistance, an event and prolonged stay in Florence that would be memorable, and relaxing for the guests.
Details such as well coordinated transport are essential, and the choice of holding a blessing ceremony on site at the castle made the day a romantic, personal and a fairy-tale experience.
They opted for a whole day rental of a large Florentine castle, and held a symbolic blessing in the gardens.
This was followed by long, relaxing cocktails and canape’s on the terraces of the castello, and a seated evening meal in the castle dining room. A long, single table, decorated with fresh calla lilies and hydrangeas, in keeping with the color theme, made the meal special – completed, of course, with top Tuscan dishes, and wines from the castle’s own production.
The wedding cake was a traditional Millefoglie, with a twist: the chef came among the guests, and built the delicious fresh cake while the guests watched, and that led on to a night of dancing and good conversation.
