A religious blessing in the gardens of a formal renaissance villa in Fiesole – the charming village overlooking Florence – in September.
The beauty of this villa – Mangiapane – is partly it’s location, and partly the position. By location we mean geographically, it’s only a short drive from central Florence. This means for the couple, they are able to offer to their guests the wealth and range of hotel options in this amazing city, ans well as a selection of activities from museums to contemporary art, fine dining, classical renaissance architecture, back street shopping, club and continental evening and night life.
For position we mean the aspect of the villa, overlooking the valley of Florence, offering this stunning formal garden and terrace overlooking the stage of Florence and it’s monuments, and the fresh breeze blowing up to the villa, even on a summer evening in July.
Stephanie and Christopher held a Protestant blessing in the side gardens, in the shade of the massive elm trees, then headed into the large formal gardens for a long relaxed cocktail time. The formal meal in their case was in the villa main hall, but it’s equally possible to eat outside.
Le Petit Jardin arranged a floral design based on high candlesticks and low rose compositions, giving a modern and warm feel with sympathetic lighting ofr guests during dinner.
