The village and surrounding estate have been carefully restored to provide typical accommodation for the more discerning traveller, whilst maintaining the traditions of the rural Tuscan lifestyle.

Sitting at the feet of the mountains which highlight the villages character and largely define the weather patterns, the estate now extends over 700 hectares of vineyards, olive trees, walnut groves, sunflowers and cereals, which combine to make this a working estate.

The picturesque village with its typical medieval urban plan, still dominates the estate: in typical Tuscan tradition the farmhouses (originally the "masters houses") are scattered over the surrounding land. These precious properties have been carefully restored to protect their rustic origins but now provide the maximum level of comfort possible for luxury holiday accommodation.

After a decade of careful planning and hard work, the estate has now been restored to its rightful place as one of the most glorious of these Tuscan outposts.

The holiday houses although differing in individual character have all been restored with comfort and practicality in mind.

Whilst staying, guests are encouraged to take advantage of the considerable amenities on offer. There are so many things to see and do, exploring the village, country walks and swimming being the obvious but thanks to the fantastic surroundings sporting activities on the estate are varied, including golf, horse riding, hot air ballooning, fishing, cookery lessons and mountain biking.
