A truly beautiful castle in the heart of the Chianti region. This wonderful location, with it's stunning views over the Tuscan hills, and it's beautifully preserved stone courtyard and halls is ideal for a wedding reception and event for 50 to 80 guests.
There is also a chapel on site which in some cases may be used for a religious celebration, this has a capacity of 46.
For a civil wedding, the villa is ideally suited for a wedding in the town halls of San Gimignano and Certaldo
The foundations of the Castle go back to the 9th century and the construction was completed in year 1000, while the first group of stone farmhouses dates back to the latter half of the 13th century.
The Castle aslo has a number of weekly rented apartments, accomodating up to 56 guests - 36 in bedrooms and 20 in sofa beds. All the apartments have wonderful views over the hills, and have been tastefully and carefullt restored, and decorated with period furniture.
The castle is also home to a wellness center: Ayurveda, probably the oldest form of natural medicine, taking into consideration health in all its aspects, physical, mental and spiritual.
