The Villa Rosa dates back to 1729, and the estate, with its vineyards and olive groves, still produces its own wine and oil. Over the past years the villa has been carefully renovated to provide accommodation that is comfortably furnished in the true Tuscan style. As the villa has been specifically designed not to lose the feel of a family home, the location is ideal for a wedding, a meeting of friends or family and, with its extensive grounds and swimming pool, is a wonderful place for relaxation.

Other than the main villa, there are four other buildings on the estate that can be rented as additional space:

The Villa Rosa sleeps 24 guests, in 11 bedrooms, beautifully furnished and decorated, many en-suite. There is a comfortable sitting room with an open fire, a music room and a library. The ballroom on the first floor, with its balcony looking out to the hills, offers a splendid setting for larger meetings, concerts or social occasions and can accommodate up to 50 people.

The Dependence is 20 yards from the main villa, and sleeps a further 21 in 8 bedrooms. It boasts a large central room with stone pillars and comfortable seating around an open fireplace. Next to the dining room there is a true cook’s kitchen with a large marble-topped table for making pasta, a wooden table for chopping, and a separate larder; ideal for cookery classes. There are two bedrooms on the ground floor and eight more on the first floor.

The Limonaia is made up of two further structures, outside of the villa gates (so not essential to book for exclusive use of the main villa). They sleep a further 6 and 10 guests.

The villa also offers a further villa – Rosina – just off site, but close to the group of properties, that sleeps a further 11 guests in 5 bedrooms.

One of the great advantages of this villa is the location: just a few miles from the wonderful town of Lucca, and only 30 minutes from Pisa airport. What’s more, the villa is on a small hill just above a little village with shops and bars, a short walk away.
