Overview

Located on the Florentine slope of Fiesole, this venue offers a spectacular view over the main monuments of the ancient city

Among the families that in the course of the centuries have lived in this magnificent villa the most renown are families of the poet Dante – the father of the Italian language – and of Beatrice Portinari, his inspiring muse.

The gardens offer a breath-taking view over Florence. The villa also features large English garden

The carefully furnished halls show a great attention to detail, and feature period pieces of furniture and artworks. Particularly important are the large tapestry in the piano room, and the large mahogany table in the Mirror hall.

The largest hall – frescoed on one wall by Xavier Bueno – is the purposefully left unfurnished, which enhances its versatility for hosting a special event.
