Classical Solo Instruments

An ideal solution for small ceremonies, in not too large open spaces, and good for closed spaces such as churches and town halls. Naturally a solo instrument will have a limited repertoire and range of sounds, so we suggest mostly for a ceremony booking, rather than a longer duration.

One exception being acoustic / Spanish guitar: the sound and range with this instrument makes it totally suitable for a blessing outdoors, and a cocktail time to follow.

Classical Duos

A more complete solution – a warm, full sound for indoors, and sufficient power for outdoors. a wider repertoire of music is arranged for a classical duo.

Great combinations are Violin + Cello for a balanced classical repertoire, and Violin + Guitar for a more contemporary repertoire

Classical Trios

Much classical chamber music suitable for events is written for trios and quartets, so the choices of music are much wider. Also the repertoire and range becomes more suitable not only for the wedding, but for other parts
of the wedding event.

A classical trio can e suitable for the early part of the event – ceremony and cocktail, but could alternatively be chosen for background music during the meal itself.

The Tuscan Trio and Tuscan Quartet – Italian Folk Repertoire

A more lighthearted, fun, but entirely professional alternative, both for the ceremony, and especially the cocktail time.

The Trio (the usual choice is guitar, violin and accordion) give a wide selection of music from the Italian tradition. Think of a sophisticated version of The Godfather wedding scene, or many 1940s to 1970s Italian cinema classics
