Overview
La Casa sul Fiume is located right on the banks of the calm, clean river called “Mincio” just 20 minutes south of Lake Garda. The river is the main feature of the venue – and make just the most breathtaking backdrop for a wedding blessing.
The river has been diverted on the grounds of the peaceful small villa to create a small island, that can be reached by three small foot-bridges and that makes a dreamy setting for a wedding banquet.
The house itself has roots going back to the 14th century, it’s a hidden gem: not signposted locally and found by lovers of tranquility and genuine holistic regeneration.
Recently, the venue has created harmonious external structures to allow for catering of a larger event on site., giving a covered area for dancing in all weathers, and a meal area in case of rain.
Accomodation and Facilities
The three double rooms on site are simple and styles with local objects and decorations dear to the family who live on site in a private part of the house. Their love of the villa is evident in everything they have created here from the common areas, to the riverside, to the gardens and planted areas, to the care they have for their guests.
